Each month, the Directors choose who they feel is the best performing Site Manager for that period.
The criteria for the award is their performance in regards to Health & Safety, Site cleanliness, Progress, Quality Management, Cost Management, Site paperwork and presentation.
The winner receives £100 worth of gift vouchers and a bottle of champagne.
Nyrons’ site at D5A is a fine example of how a site should be run. Health and Safety and site cleanliness are excellent, systems and procedures are exemplary which in turn results in good progress and minimal non-recoverable costs and wastage.
It gives us pleasure to to announce that the Site Manager for the month is shared between Nyron Wood and Brian James. Both are Site Managers on our 69 Apartment scheme at SA1, Swansea. Through good use of collaborative planning, this scheme is making very good progress. Housekeeping is excellent as is Health and Safety.
Jamie recently completed 8 Nr bungalows at The Grove, Steynton. This was Jamie’s first job he took charge of. The scheme was completed to a high standard, on time and within the prelim allowance.
Phill is working on the Hafod Group Repair Scheme. He’s planning and coordinating the works very well with minimum disruption to the property occupiers. During a recent site visit, the Employers Agent was extremely complimentary of the progress of the works and of the quality.
During a recent Considerate Constructors visit, Nyron achieved an exceptional score of 36 out of 40 marks. This is the best score we have achieved on any site to date and puts the site in the top 10% of construction sites assessed nationwide through the Considerate Constructors scheme. Well done Nyron, this is a commendable effort.
Chris is the Site Manager at our 132 bedroom hotel scheme at SA1, Swansea. The project is well organised and run efficiently with good use of collaborative planning. We are currently on target to finish six weeks early. He is ably assisted on the site by Peter Carr.
Peter Carr was the Site Manager for the new Dojo Arena at the Welsh Institute of Sport, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. The scheme was delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality finish.
Iestyn was the Site Manager on the recently completed Clunderwen project.The project was completed early, within budget and to a very high quality of workmanship
Nyron’s site is Dunelm at Waterton Cross, Bridgend and he excels in the following areas Health and Safety, Cleanliness, Programme and Planning, Collation of Delivery Notes and Collaborative Planning.
Nick is on our project at Brackla Infants School. The works are being well managed with good planning and coordination to ensure the works are carried out safely with the minimum disruption to the school.
